NUMBING CREAM DISTRIBUTION & PARTNER PROGRAM
Bring compounded BLT numbing cream (Benzocaine 20% / Lidocaine 10% / Tetracaine 10%) to the practices you already serve. Aesthetic distributors, device manufacturers, DSOs, GPOs, and training academies partner with MediCaine to put a consistent, pharmacy-compounded topical anesthetic in front of their accounts — without carrying inventory, handling a prescription product, or taking on compounding liability.
WHY OUR PROGRAM WORKS DIFFERENTLY
Most numbing cream sold through distribution is an over-the-counter product made by a manufacturer or a 503B outsourcing facility. Those products can be bought, stocked, and resold like any other case of goods.
MediCaine is different on purpose. Our BLT is compounded in a licensed 503A pharmacy under USP-795 standards, fresh per order, for a specific licensed provider. Section 503A of the FD&C Act is what makes a 20/10/10 strength compound possible at all — and the same section means a compounded preparation is dispensed against a valid provider order rather than sold as stock inventory.
So our partner program is built around that reality instead of pretending otherwise. Partners introduce and support the account. The pharmacy credentials the provider, dispenses under their order, and ships direct to that practice. You carry nothing, store nothing, and never hold a prescription product on your shelf.
If a partner needs stock they can physically warehouse and resell, that is a 503B outsourcing-facility product, and we will say so plainly rather than sell you into a compliance problem. See our compliance page for the full regulatory framework.
Neither lane is better in the abstract. 503A is how a practice gets a strength and base that no stock product carries; 503B is how a facility buys pallets. We are a 503A, and our partner terms reflect that.
PARTNERS WHO ALREADY OWN THE RELATIONSHIP
If licensed practices already buy from you, listen to you, or train with you, a pharmacy-compounded numbing cream is a natural add — and one your competitors cannot copy off a wholesale catalog.
Supply companies selling injectables, skincare, and consumables into med spas and dermatology — add a topical anesthetic line without adding a prescription SKU to your warehouse.
Laser, RF microneedling, and energy-device companies whose reps get asked about pre-treatment numbing on every install and training day.
Dental and medical support organizations standardizing topical anesthetic across every location under one managed account with consolidated ordering.
GPOs and buying groups adding a credentialed compounding pharmacy to their member catalog, with tiered pricing that improves as member volume grows.
Injector schools, microblading and PMU academies, and CE providers whose graduates need a compliant numbing source from day one of practice.
Med spa consultants and practice-launch advisors specifying the supply stack for new aesthetic practices and multi-site rollouts.
WHAT PARTNERS ACTUALLY GET
TIERED PRICING THAT MOVES WITH VOLUME
Your accounts are priced as a book of business, not one clinic at a time. As referred volume grows, the tier improves for every practice under your partner code — and they keep that pricing even when you are not on the call.
A PHARMACIST ON YOUR SIDE
A named contact at the pharmacy who takes your accounts' calls, answers formulation and application questions your reps cannot, and handles credentialing without bouncing the practice through a support queue.
COMPLIANCE DOCUMENTATION
State pharmacy licensure, USP-795 compounding documentation, and per-preparation records available for your accounts' procurement and credentialing files. When their compliance officer asks, you have an answer in writing.
CLINICAL EDUCATION FOR YOUR REPS
Training on how BLT 20/10/10 differs from OTC lidocaine and EMLA, occlusion and dwell-time protocol, and the safety conversation — so your team sells it correctly instead of guessing. Built from our clinical material.
CO-BRANDED COLLATERAL
Leave-behinds, protocol one-sheets, and digital assets carrying both marks, so the product looks like part of your line rather than a third-party flyer stapled to your catalog.
NO INVENTORY, NO LIABILITY
You never buy, hold, ship, or store a compounded prescription preparation. The pharmacy dispenses to the credentialed practice and ships direct. Your risk is a referral relationship, not a regulated drug on your shelf.
FIVE STEPS, NO WAREHOUSE
-
APPLY
Tell us who you sell to, which specialties, and roughly how many practices. We reply within one business day — a real answer, not an autoresponder.
-
SET TERMS
We agree on tier structure, your partner code, territory or vertical if relevant, and the marketing support you need. Terms in writing before anyone pitches anything.
-
TRAIN YOUR TEAM
A working session on the formulation, the protocol, the compliance framing, and the objections. Your reps leave able to answer the three questions every practice asks.
-
INTRODUCE ACCOUNTS
You bring the practice. We verify the provider through the NPI Registry and state licensure, then set the account up under your partner code.
-
WE COMPOUND AND SHIP
Every order is compounded fresh against the provider's order and shipped direct to that practice. Reorders run on their own without you chasing a PO.
503A LICENSED
Compounded in a state-licensed 503A pharmacy under USP-795 standards.
BLT 20 / 10 / 10
Benzocaine 20%, Lidocaine 10%, Tetracaine 10% — the same compound on every order.
NPI VERIFIED
Every account credentialed through the CMS NPI Registry and state licensure.
MADE IN THE USA
Compounded fresh per order in the United States. Never imported, never stock-shelved.
THE QUESTIONS EVERY PARTNER ASKS
Can I buy MediCaine wholesale and resell it?
Not as a compounded preparation. A 503A pharmacy dispenses against a valid provider order rather than selling stock for resale, so partners are compensated on referred accounts instead of taking title. If you need product you can warehouse and resell, that is a 503B outsourcing-facility arrangement — tell us and we will say plainly whether we can help.
Do my accounts need a prescription?
They need a licensed provider. We verify that provider through the CMS NPI Registry and state licensure, and the preparation is dispensed under their order. There is no patient-by-patient script for the practice to chase — the credentialed provider is the order.
Can you ship to my accounts in every state?
Section 503A places limits on interstate distribution, and pharmacy licensure is state by state. Give us the states your book covers and we will tell you exactly which accounts we can serve today, before you pitch a single one of them.
How is this different from the OTC numbing creams already in my catalog?
Strength and origin. OTC products cap out well below a 20/10/10 triple-anesthetic compound, and they are batch-manufactured for shelf life rather than compounded fresh for a provider. See BLT vs OTC lidocaine and BLT vs EMLA for the clinical comparison your reps will be asked about.
Is there a minimum, and what does the partner earn?
Both depend on your vertical, territory, and expected account count, so we quote them per partner rather than publishing a number that would be wrong for most of the people reading it. Apply below and we will put real figures in front of you within one business day.
What if my account just wants volume pricing for their own practice?
Send them to our wholesale and volume program. That is the direct path for a single practice or a group buying for itself. This page is for organizations bringing other practices to us.
